A missing teenager has returned home safely, police report.
A 16-year-old girl was reported missing from Southfield and police asked for the public’s help in locating her.

Maya Houston’s last known whereabouts was the Red Roof Inn at 27660 Northwestern Highway at approximately 12:07 a.m., police said. She’s described as a black female with a medium complexion, 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighing approximately 115 pounds. She has brown eyes and wears her short red and orange hair in braids, police said.
